Spring in May
Spring seems to have finally made it’s way to the Chicago area, and the trees are blooming and the tulips in my front yard finally sprouted. And it’s only May! (-.-)
The semester is almost over, and I just have to finish up two exams this week and then….FREEDOM! I’m looking forward to the warm weather, summer fruits—watermelon, mangoes, kiwis—and the potential...

I meant to upload this earlier, and even though the Christmas season is over, I find it utterly hilarious!
Timmy writes a Christmas Letter
Dear Santa,
How are you? How is Mrs. Claus? I hope everyone, from the
reindeer to the elves, is fine. I have been a very good boy this year. I
would like an X-Box 360 with Call of Duty IV and an iPhone 4 for
Christmas. I hope you remember that come...

The "Get Happy" Plan
Or the “I’m Getting My Life Together” Plan:
1. Life sucks balls sometimes, but that doesn’t mean it’s all over
2. Exercise! A healthy body is a happier body!
3. Chocolate is not a food group
4. I am not defined by grades or gpa. We can’t make it perfect every time.
5. Enjoy the moment, and make the best of a shitty situation
6. Laugh every day, and keep...

What if
What is my bed? Its wooden frame was derived from some tree thousands of miles away, no doubt. This structure, which supports me every day and every night, what is it? The tree it was made of was once alive: an organism that respires, breeds, grows, and adapts. Science says trees are living organisms—perhaps not like humans, but they are alive. If that is the case, am I lying, every night, on its...

Sunday Rant
I’m really tired of hearing about what I can’t eat, what I shouldn’t wear, what I shouldn’t say, see, or do. It seems like there are more things that are bad for you these days than things that are good.

New App
I got a new app: Paper. I’m not too sure what I think about it. So far, I don’t like the fact that I can’t zoom in and I don’t know if I can make the paint brush smaller, that’s why all that cooling outside the lines. But I do really like the concept and the fact that I can have the paint setting. I should note that when you get the free app, you just get an eraser...

A rant on overpriced crap
So, I’m kind of tired of spending big bucks on things that simply suck. I mean, if polyester is so abundant and can be made in labs, why charge me 50$ for a polyester t-shirt? Put a label on it like Topshop, Acne, or whatever, and the shirt could be even more. Does that even make any sense?
I went to Zara today in hopes of seeing their fall fashion. I saw the most beautiful scarf, and it...

WTH
So I just realized that the url for this “insertwth” could be taken as “insert witty title here” OR “insert whatever the hell”, which I am realizing now that I quite enjoy the idea of the other alternative titles. But then again, that’s left to all sort of interpretations!

Just Another Friday...
My mom says that from the moment I was born, I was laughing—that’s apparently the first thing I did. And I always hear from adults that I was always laughing and smiling…I’ve been thinking about that…
Since my birthday is coming up next week and I’ll be turning twenty, I am realizing more and more that I am no longer a child. And as an...
The laser-powered bionic eye →
I definitely made my independent research project during my last term in high school about this! It’s really fascinating stuff, and a great breakthrough. However, as I recall, people aren’t actually able to see defined shapes. I imagine it is still being advanced.
